Atautuq

has posted an invitation for others to create some Witherling concept art :] So to break out of my art-block for a bit, i thought i'd try to create one for each strain.

Atautuq, part of the Common Strain, live in large groups in deep caverns. Like many creatures that live strictly underground, they have gone blind. They will die quickly if exposed to sunlight, though lamp and firelight will not harm them. They tend to be very curious, and will silently follow anyone who ventures into their cavern. While it can be startling to turn around and find a couple dozen of these guys peering out from behind the stalagmites, they are harmless and quite social.
